We used to use Sharkeys, in the early days but last time we were there, the restaurant had exploded in size, but the food was pretty good, certainly plenty of it. Problem is it usually comes out in the dark, often a little overcooked for most of us
There is also a group of beach restaurants right down the south end of Jimbaren, which we used to frequent when staying up the road at Intercontinental. All of them were ok, no standouts.

I think with Jimbaren for me it was always the fun of eating on wonky chairs in the sand, having a drink and a laugh, and watching the sun go down. Food was secondary to the atmosphere.
