Being my first time to Lombok and going for 10 nights I thought it best to mix it up a bit. Don't want to get stuck on the mainland and run out of things to see and do, plus I like the idea of an island sojourn for a few days, but don't want to be stuck on an island for 10 nights also.
Maybe 3/4 on each might be a good mix for you?
