They are the other side of the monkey forest with fantastic views overlooking some rice fields. Even though they're not quite central they are very well located near many restaurants, mini market, big supermarket, money changer, etc.etc.
I have stayed at Tegal Sari 3 times now and it's my favourite for sure.
If you want to stay more central then I can also recommend Sri Bungalows about half way down MF Road.
