Ive stayed at the Masa several times. If you are after a cheap room with breakfast included this place is great. You are in the thick of things being in the middle of Poppies 1 but once you go into the hotel grounds you are in tranquil Bali. Getting taxis down there is painful, but you can just walk to either end of the lane to get one. There are a lot of alleyways you can use as shortcuts thru to Matahari's or Poppies 2. There are no clubs in hearing distance of the Masa. The pools were always clean. Rooms were clean with air conditioning. If you need anthing the staff were alwys happy to help. The only thing i missed was a kettle in my room, but i brought a cheap one at Discovery. They may even have tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms now. Ive cant comment on theDewi as never been there. Good luck.
