Went to a fundraiser last year and after a few bottles of Champas, our table of 10 bid on 6 night Bali Villa.... and won! We have booked for May and are all very excited as half of my friends have never been to Bali. As hubbie and I have been several times we have become the unofficial fun coordinators! Normally we stay around seminyak/Legian area, however the Villa is right down the bottom of the island overlooking "cliffs"? I looked on google maps and we are near the paragliding on JL Pura Melang.
My question is can anyone recommend restaurants, presumably around Nusa Dua,on the map to the right of us or Ulawatu areas to the left being the closest? My favourites are Sarong, La Luc, Ultimos...similar in atmosphere/price etc
How long would you say a drive to Seminyak from this area around early evening is given traffic can be awful?
Any other thoughts or suggestions for things to do in this area eg great spas (I love Bodyworks!) would be appreciated, as I dont want to drag everyone up to Seminyak all the time, and its a great opportunity for us to explore a new area of this beautiful island! Thanks.
