Don't know if you can buy it in Australia, but I bought a great Bali Street Atlas in Periplus book store in Bali a couple of years ago. It has maps of the whole of Bali and more detailed maps of the main towns. We drive ourselves around Bali and have found that this book along with the GPS is all we need to find our way around Bali. However as with all maps of bali including the GPS there are a few errors to be found. But that puts more fun in the trip.
