I'm not a great connoisseur of hotel rooms, but I'm always happy with the private apartments we get in the Jayakarta Residences. They are through a New Zealand couple at puketoki.com. The rooms are older but clean and in very good condition. They cost about $90 aus dollars a night and you get full use of the resorts facilities. Bugger off if you're thinking about booking late Aug early Sept as this may jeopardise my booking ,but go for it any other time. They own quite a few apartments in the complex and are always a delight to deal with. I have no involvement with the owners, but having said that, come on Suzanne and Max, this free ad has to worth a discount.......please......maybe free late checkout.....no hang on you already give us that..........maybe an extra welcome drink, yes that will do. Bintang is always good..........Warm regards John & Jennie
