not a good time to be in Bali, especially the Kuta/Legian area. It feels like all of Java have come to Bali with the family (and grandma) and the SUV for around 7 days. You cannot move. I was there in 2004 (TA not aware of Idul Fitri) and it was chaos. Would have to be worse now. The Kuta Paradiso had so many guests they opened the ballroom as another breakfast room. It was quicker to walk from Kuta to Legian than catch a taxi. Mind you some days now it feels like that. It took soooooo long to get from the airport. Never again at that time.
