whilst not idealising or using rose coloured lenses and believing that the Balinese are good and bad in equal spadefulls just like the rest of us...in fact their reigion only asks for balance between good and bad not perfection.
Do you remember (I bet you do) just after the Bali Bomb, number 1 I think, when Hindu and Moslem Indonesians stood guard at Christian churches to keep the worshipers safe from a threat, perceived or real, from terrorists? No mention in the Australian media of this because it didn't fit the profile that they wish to project.
The Australian press used to be so much better than the gutter press in the UK but sadly this is no longer the case.
