Australian motorbike licence ok

Partner has australian motor bike licence.
Do we need an international drivers permit to be covered?
What insurance companies will cover you if you only have australian motorbike licence and no international drivers permit?

We leave tomorrow, forgot all about!

How easy is it to get a licence in bali? What should you pay? Do you have to do a test?
