Mama Jo happened to befriend some of these little darlings in Poppies1 several years ago, bought them all ice creams, bought the young girls new dresses (they wore for a week), took them swimming in our hotel pool (approved by staff)...after that none of the street kids were allowed to try to sell/ pester Mama Jo anything...all was given...several years later we bumped some of them in Legian, they remembered Mama Jo, and once again all was given :)...a happy ending to sad story.
