To buy US$25 for a VOA

ANZ will currently charge you $29.31 plus fees ($37 total).

The Currency Exchange (the very creative name of the currency exchange place at one of the nearby malls) will currently charge $29.15 and no extra fees.

For me though, I don't see the point in doing it either way when the rate for paying the VOA in Australian dollars would only cost a dollar or so more. The mall where this currency exchange is located has no free parking, so with petrol and parking fees added, it would cost more. If it were at my local mall that I visit anyway, and no parking fees etc, I might grab some US dollars to pay the visa.

Just out of interest, to get US$100 to buy visa for a family of four would be $125 vs $116.60 at the two places mentioned above. So yeah, local places can be cheaper than the banks.
