I pay with whatever I have at the time - usually AUD$.
Going on AUD$30 for the US$25 visa, it works out no real benefit to change to US$ at home before you go. The local currency exchange here - which gives a better rate than banks, Aus Post, Travelex etc, would cost $29.05 today to buy US$25. It's not worth the $1.50 in parking fees to go and exchange that. :)
