Hi have been staying there for years, long term, a little hidden gem and inexpensive and close to everything..but now with new shopping centre on corner of Poppies and Jl Pantai and a change in management, have not stayed there for over 12 months.
Suggest you do as Geckogirl suggest and stay there for five days or so and see what you think...it was always safe as houses (?) but it is at the end of a gang and quite dark at night, diff friends from Perth would meet and stay there, but last year, going home late at night and down the gang, it was a bit dicey...before all the local families would look out for us.
If you get one of the new rooms it is okay, big pool area and large open restaurant, basic, but Satriya is just around the corner and ate there mostly and they had band ... The prices went up dramatically with new management, but two uyears ago, long stay I was only paying 300,000 per nite..
