rooms which are normally the ones in the two storey hotel block. We ask for a ground floor room closer to the beach end. These rooms are the closest to the beach unless you book the Classic Rooms/Suites. The rooms in the hotel block are a bit larger so have more room than the stand alone bungalows - have stayed in one of these a couple of times, No 229 and it was okay but now stay in the hotel block rooms because of the size. The pool on the beach, although not big is lovely and is my favourite place in whole of bali to gaze out to sea. Besakih is a lovely hotel and although some of the rooms are a little bit tired, all this means is that they aren't 5 star but are clean and comfortable and have everything that you want/need.
