Specialized items with lots of stone or carvings are normally sold by the piece because of the time to make compared to a plain pair of ear rings which go by the gram. You make sure you keep receipt as you can trade back when gold goes up in price. All the shops are side by side so look at them all and ask for gram price as they do vary. Allow a couple of hours.
