We stayed there last year and enjoyed the place.
The pool is central between the two wings of rooms and there are sun lounges down the southern side and on a separate deck at western end. Not a lot of lounges but we didn't have trouble in getting one but it was not school holiday time.
Pool bar prices seemed quite reasonable, but we don't drink a huge amount anyway.
Can't help with the kids club as we didn't have kids with us.
There have been a few reports of unsavoury behavior on the streets nearby but we didn't experience any problems.
