I'm back from Uruzgan Provence, now that's what I call a high level of danger. As for tourists in Bali the level of danger is what I would call low. As you live there and you would know and no doubt practice that you can limit the amount of danger and level you are exposed too just as you can at home. Common-sense seems to disappear as soon as people arrive at Denpasar airport.
Calling it as it is? No you are stating your opinion. My opinion with my multi coloured glasses is that Bali is no dangerous than many other places I have visited around the globe.
