The main tourist area is Sengiggi. There are a number of hotels in the area have a look at tripadvisor you should find something to suit. Sengiggi has restaurants and earrings. Lombok is a lot more laid back than Bali. But you could grab a boat to the Gilis Gilis Air is the closest but least developed. You can try and the mountain can't remember name but I think it starts with Rig. You can grab a driver and head south to Kuta beach, yes they have one in Lombok too, for some quiet time on secluded surf beaches. You can wander the capital Mataram and do some shopping at the markets. Visit a traditional Sasak village for some nice fabric and culture.
Lombok is very different to Bali as it has far less tourists but great for a laid back holiday I hope these suggestions give you some ideas I what you want to do.
