Just wanting to ask about where you are able to transit though the new airport. We are flying to bali for a quick few days before heading to phuket for a holiday, however on the way home it is cheaper to go via bali again, this time though we would only be transiting and only staying within the airport.
In the old airport I knew that when landing you had to clear arrival customs and then check in for your next flight (also paying VOA and departure tax), my question is has this changed? As anyone done this since the new airport opened?
When I flew to the new airport last trip, when getting off my jetstar flight i saw some passengers being farmed off in another direction to continue onto a jetstar flight to singapore.
Would this be a special exemption for jetstar, or could I get off a singapore airlines flight in bali and then jump onto the virgin flight to Brisbane?
