I did notice a couple of people snorkelling, but would not be able to give a good indication of suitability, first dive visibility was about 12m and third dive it was about 15m and yes on my first dive I was able to go to 12m which skimmed around the top of the wreck and third dive to 18m was swimming through the wreck, but I do recall the safety stop at 5m there was a lot of beautiful coral and fish to look at 5 - 6m. Not sure if others would feel it is worth the drive for snorkelling, but would be worth asking the Q of a tour operator. It was a great day out, I don't think I would be disappointed.
