Air Asia did the same to us but as it was due to their rescheduling they offered us one free flight change so we needed up with better fight times than we had booked. Got the more expensive and better times for no charge. I wonder if Jetstar would do the same if you challenged them on it as they advertise to beat any advertised fare??
