Was a lot of little things that added up, it wasn't until my 2nd visit that I became hooked:
1). friendly Balinese people
2). Weather
3). Beautiful scenic countryside
4). Eating out at amazing (& not so amazing) restaurants
5). Cheap shopping
6). Cheap airfares & closeness to Aus, so close yet so different
7). Smells such as clove cigarettes, food cooking on roadside carts
+++ could go on forever
