I used to take lots of things to keep them happy.I used to do a special bag up goodies for the trip and hand out things as needed when they got bored I'd pulled out another suprise. Bag would always include a new small toy or gadget. I new colouring or puzzle book. A diary for their holiday, some colouring pencils etc. I would also grab for my daughter those little kits to make yourself a braclet an a small tupperware container for al the bits. I would also bring along the DS games and make sure all well charged in advance. Some lolly pops and chips etc.
Garuda do have the screens in the seats with lots of movies to pick from. Food is included on Garuda but mine was pretty ordinary, except the mango weiss bar was fab. You can't buy pringles or snacks like you can on airlines that don't include food. etc. So if your kids like that sort of thing like mine then maybe grab a few chips or snack bar type things to take with you.
