Flew in 8/9/13 with AA from Perth for a short 8 day stay with my daughter. Good flight except for the sinus pain :( ouch !!!!
Staying at Sari Bunga in 66 road, nice cheap Balinesie hotel, hard beds and dodgy wifi but ok all the same....love this area and wanted to keep it budget this time.
Have dined at Cafe Marzano and Warung Asia (which I might add is moving in October to upstairs and out the front of Sang Ria across the road. )This should be a great spot I think.
The weather is beautiful, not too hot.
Bali is busy but so far the traffic isn't crazy...this time ( compared to May this year ) we have found Taxi drivers more pleasant and happy to use meters although the sweet little old guy we just used from up near the Bintang obviously turned his back off again and charged us 20,000 for a normal 10,000 or under trip. Now I am happy to round up and tip but it does annoy me a but when they do that....not such a sweet little old man after all !!!!
Daughter suffers from fibromyalgia and I had planned to get her in to see Billy at Saka Healing but apparently he's in Jakarta working at the mo so instead she is off to Lhaksmi therapy for some acupuncture and hopefully some pain relief this arvo.
Exchange rate was 10,700 yesterday which is best I've ever known, gotta be happy with that ;)
Have book for High tea at Biku for tomorrow arvo, yum yum.
