I travel to Bali twice a year and I've flown with both airlines and I don't have a preference, I choose whoever has a sale on for the period I'm wanting to travel.
The main difference I've found is that Jetstar charges more for meals and luggage but they have more western meal choices and they serve alcoholic beverages, mainly beer and UDL type drinks. I personally like the Airasia's inexpensive asian meals and I don't mind going without alcohol for 3 hours so as I said I go with whoever has a sale on when I'm looking to book.
