I took a cheap toaster with me lol and vegemite and left the toaster for my driver when we went home. The toaster wasn't used. My son actually enjoyed the breakfasts often having croissants and pancakes and scrambled eggs. At the hotel we stayed at in Ubud my 6 yr old daughter had cocopops, or rice bubbles, even for lunch a cple of times. The children were happy with their food options and it really wasnt a problem. You can also almost always order a platter of fruit and yoghurt at most places that serve breakfast.
