Your choice of course, but i know that in Greece and other parts of eastern Europe a bin with a lid beside the loo is standard. The pipes are too small to deal with the bulk of paper. You get used to it really quickly, and it really doesn't smell. No doubt the bins will be emptied very regularly. Even my fussy teenage daughters managed to deal with it!
