We are at Kamuela right now and are disappointed. The last few trips we've stayed at full service villas and this one just doesn't compare. If you're used to staying at hotels you may be happy ... But we have found service lacking, towels old, nowhere comfortable to relax, tv/DVD equipment poor, kitchen facilities poor. And beware of changing money at the kodak shop across the road - they've tried ripping us off every time we have changed money. They're not that good at it though because we've picked it every time. Kamuela's in a good location though, and yes Cat & Fiddle is across the road and their breakfast runs rings around Kamuela.
Can't fault Caramel Restaurant for lunch and dinner though ... It's great.
