Its not typicaly a monsoon season in bali. When it does rain - it will usually be for a few hours at most - and then it will be back to el scorchio. So you have't got to worry about it ruining your holiday - unless your there for a very short period of time and luck is not running your way.
In my experience most of the rain comes in the evening - usually once I am tucked up in a bar :-) more reason to stay a bit longer haha, but you may get a few daytime downpours - just find somewhere to have a bintang and watch the world go by if this happens.
