I believe you can get transport for a reasonable price that heads into the city to all the hotels. Lots of places to eat and you could hop on public transport. The Bell Tower, Museum, art gallery's etc are in the city as well. There is nothing within walking distance from the airport. The domestic & international airports are kms apart and a free bus will take you between the two so not sure if you will have your luggage with you or not
