we stay in Ubud every trip and yes we stay on Monkey forest road at our fav hotel,Komaneka.in saying that each morning starts with a wander to the ricefields,10 minutes away,a visit to the markets old and new sections,and then on to some of the best food in Bali followed by walks down hidden laneways and meandering towards Jalan Bisma which is lovely...point is we haven't stepped out of the Main drag and when you do it's even better...love Ubud !!!
