If anyone would like to stay with a family in Sanur I would recommend Suweti's Homestay near the roundabout in Sanur.
Suweti has a lovely airconditioned room with TV & DVD player, Western toilet and a cold shower. She will even cook a meal for you.
The family speak English and are a delight to be with.
