My mum recently found a company (that has escaped my mind atm) that does unlimited data (2gig per day) for a month for 150,000rp, which is handy if you don't have wifi in your room, and also with you can hotspot your phone for up to 3 other users to use your data! the sim will usually cost you around 50,000rp and I usually put around 50,000 on for credit. Ask them for the code to put in front of an Aussie number for cheap calls and they will gladly write it down for you.
