Not sure why it would be bad for business and economy.
Makes Indonesia a more attractive place to visit and invest in.
Also gives Indonesian exports an advantage.
The only downside is that imported goods are more expensive but it is easy to buy local. The rich Indos who like foreign goods won't be bothered.
