Yes, you can extend your VGA, but it is difficult.
I tried to extend my VOA this year, but I was rejected as I applied 5 days before my VOA expired.
Imigrasi want you to apply between 14 to 7 days before your VOA expires. You also have to make three trips to an office on the Ngurah Rai Bypass Road in Denpasar and pay Rp 250,000 plus Rp 5,000 for the form.
After my rejection, I paid a fellow at the hotel Rp 650,000 to extend my VOA. This process took 11 days.
It is easier to buy a 60 day Turis Visa in Australia.
