and get one of the local boys to teach you. My grandson just learnt with one of them and my older 2 with another. Suggest you go to "Andy's Beach Bar" on the beach opposite Zanzibar restaurant. Andy, Hendra, Irvan are 3 that I know of to be good at this. There would be quite a few more. Gerson (sony) is also great and he taught my older two but he is now in his own surf school business with a couple of partners - Bali Green Surf School - or something like that.
