Left the jayakarta at legian this morning. The footpaths have improved around the padma resort and legian in general but you would have to be 'wonder woman' to get a pram or a wheelchair around using the footpaths or roads. I read your earlier 'post' about the wheelchair. There are electricity posts positioned in the middle of the 2 foot wide footpaths and cars and scooters/bikes park on and use them for roads. Bali is not suitable for prams and wheelchairs. Have you considered SIngapore? I had trouble walking on the footpaths let alone pushing a pram or wheelchair. I am sure you would have a safety issue using the roads pushing a wheelchair in Bali or Legian. Are you going to lift a wheelchair up onto a footpath?
