Since economy has 16 different pricing levels and Business class has 2 minimum then they aren't going to sell you an expensive seat cheaply to keep you happy. If people need to travel and their only option in bus class then they pay it and have no choice. They would rather see economy full and bus half empty than reducing the price. Also word would get around to do this and the selling cost is then greatly reduced and the airlines make a huge loss.
I love business but for 6hrs I suck it up and just think of tomorrow night's sleep :)
