and tomorrow it will have been 2 weeks since we checked out of our hotel at Ubud and I'm still waiting for the credit card transaction to go through.
When I checked my acct after a week and found no transaction, I emailed them, they took 3 days to respond. In the intervening period I phoned my bank, they could see the transaction against my Visa but it hadn't been processed, so no funds on hold as such. The bank said sometimes it can take up to a month. Never heard of that!!!
When the hotel finally responded they asked who I booked through. It was Expedia but I had the option of paying them direct which I did. I emailed him back, and since that, nothing... still waiting.
Has anyone experienced this kind of delay?
