Flew Garuda from Sydney as usual paid VOA at airport and did immigration on the plane, so good an idea, does save time although there still is about a 15min wait for all the bags and boards in Bali.Good flight although wonder why some parents let the kids run riot on the plane, we had them running up and down the isles whilst the parents drank duty free!Stayed at Puri Raja for the 7th and possibly last time, the prices since the owners son have taken over have now doubled and the only change is a new TV, and curtains, love the hotel and staff but think i can get better value elsewhere.We had a large group of uni kids staying and as a whole were pretty good but once they settled in they were a nightmare, they crashed bikes, broke things, smashed bottles and very extremely loud.On checkout the staff went to clean on of there rooms and they had basically trashed it, broken glass on the floor and the room had to be repainted.Spent a lot of time at S&S and Billys Bar met up with forumites and relaxed.Went to Safari Park for the day and it rained solid for 2 hours, well at least it was warm, and had lunch there which was the most expensive meal of the trip!, i would recommend it to familes with smaller kids as they can get a whole day there with the waterpark. Part 2 coming with a trip to BIMC, stitches and motorbikes!
