I just found out that I have 4 free nights in Bali so I am looking for some suggestions. I will be escorting a group of women from Canada for 2 weeks staying in Ubud (7 nts), Kuta (4 nts) and Seminyak (3 nts). Normally I would go home with them but this time I have the option of staying longer.
This will be my 25th visit to Bali since 1983. I've stayed in many places but looking for somewhere quiet with a view (rice terraces or close to the ocean) and small. I know I will need a break by then. I don't want to stay anywhere between Kuta and Seminyak but almost anywhere else would be great.
I am hoping to have some downtime for these 4 days.
Any suggestions for a small Balinese style property with nice staff, maybe an on-site spa or one close by and some restaurants in the area? I am willing to go anywhere on the island. Price will not be a huge factor as long as it meets the other criteria.
I feel a bit like a kid in a candy store as it's been a long time since I've been in Bali by myself. Time to pick the perfect place - just for me!
