After my 1st trip, and getting fleeced by an agent on Travel Insurance, airport transfers, etc I hought "How Hard Could it Be?". Have done my own ever since (probably 10 times) and to dat (touch wood)have never had even the slightest hitch occur.

What you will find is that Webjet will often force you to take a return trip on a single airline. Quite often using different airlines in and out can save you a quid or 3.

Also, be prepared to search the internet again for every trip. One provider might have been good in the past, but not a good reason to blindly stick with them.

Another good tip when searching airlines is to look at the carriers website that runs in other countries. Sounds a bit odd, but have had significant flight discounts by booking via another country. Have found different rates when booking through the Indo Garuda website and not the Australianised version.

Asia Rooms can come up with good prices, and they don't take any money from you, you pay the hotel on departure.
