the street people get their money from the banks. They lower it a bit for their expenses etc. Third hand drops more. I always go to a bank.
The ones who offer more is a rip off.
Stay away from the money changer bank next to entrance to Mataharri's they tried to rip us off and friends also were ripped off about a week after. I used to recommend them. I complained to the head office of the bank. Had my receipt and gave them the details. Answer, after a week, "You got all the money didn't you" I replied that I only got it all because I counted it and when it was 50,000rp short I demanded my 50,000rp and got it. It should have been all there in the first place. still no answer from the head office regarding this reply.
