Clovis - I totally get where you are coming from regarding slander, and freedom of speech could mean feedom to have a go at someone for the wrong reason.
BUT I do think if other people know about something they can avoid it.
We use this approach with safety concerns, eg: dont drink arak in dodgy bars, and don't have sex with a sex worker or a casual friend without protection - SO why should we not share with our fellow man and woman about what scams there are about - and how to avoid them.
Karma is a good thing - however if you do not follow it - its hurts when it smacks you in the face
