I second the suggestion by sunrise to book with Flight Centre after doing a price comparison with Air Asia Go.

I booked a hotel room in Bali last month with Air Asia Go. Because the website was not working properly, I booked the same room twice on the same date for the same person. Air Asia Go charged my credit card twice with the same amount a few minutes apart.

I complained to the ANZ Bank and expected a deletion of the second debit. Air Asia Go falsely claimed to ANZ that I had booked a different person the second time and refused a refund. ANZ then supported Air Asia Go in not giving me a refund.

I immediately cancelled my ANZ credit card and have put Air Asia Go and ANZ Bank on my personal black list.
