fairywren, Firstly, I'm a photographer, it's how I supplement my pension income so that I can afford to travel. Secondly, please note my comment that I didn't get a photo of the most recent body as I didn't want to be disrespectful and push my camera through the bamboo cage. Thirdly, I also noted that I'd learned a lot from our minder...and I know how they think about the remains....just seeing some of the bones discarded on a rubbish heap is quite enlightning.

And, haven't you ever visited a cemetery anywhere? Old graves, mausoleums etc. It is certainly possible to be respectful in a cemetery. Just think about the segments shown on our news programs etc. People always visit cemeteries, take photos, or film crews shoot footage.

Trunyan is an Aga village, and our visit there increased my knowledge of the Balinese way of life.
