So flying out of bali - to london, and then returning to bali.
Yep.
Your best bet is checking skyscanner, do you have specific dates or are you flexible?
If flexible you can select a whole month and see the each way price for every day to get the best deal.
Malaysia and Singapore used to be the cheapest, but they seem to have ramped up the prices lately - unless you manage to grab a sales fare.
I usually use, etihad, emirates or qatar these days and you will look to pay between five and six hundred pound return.
Check for stopover time - some can be ss much as 15 / 16 hours... and for a few quid more you can have as little as 50 minutes.
You can book and pay in pounds or any other currency - I advise booking in the currency of your bank account so the banks dont rip you off with the exchange rate.
If your booking for someone else - they will need a copy of your debit / credit card at check in or they could be denied boarding.
Anything else you need to know, let me know.
Oh... flights go into both heathrow and gatwick
