Depending on how much you put on your sim before you come home will be the expiry date. if it is simpatti *888# will give you credit amount and expiry date. Back in Aust the modern phones tell you there is an error but if the sim is put in an old phone it works fine.
I use a site called Mobile re-charge. ( mobilerecharge.com )
I am going back in Aug then again in October, so recharge to have credit for when I arrive and last day I top up again and the expiry date extends.
Points to remember. The extended expiry date goes from the day you re-charge. Recharge only a couple of days before expiry.
When I first recharged they called me on my mobile to confirm I was trying to recharge an Indonesian mobile ( Indonesian friends mobile Ha Ha ) and now the re-charges go straight through. I have two sims (one for me and one for the wife) then I have another on the merry go round with friends who travel frequently to share for my tablet. No problems in last 6 years. email is open if you wish to know more.
