Get a copy of your prescription from Aust. Free through Medicare so have your eyes tested at home, and take the prescription with you to compare. I found that the frames in Bali were not the best so took a pair of good frames and they put lenses in.
There are so many places in Aust where you can send your script and get glasses for under $20. Never had a decent pair from Bali. They scratched the first week. OK for a spare in the shed/car etc. Friend bought some online and also found them good.
I used two places in Bali. Top floor of Carrefour opposite checkouts. These were the best. The other opposite the main entry to Mataharri's in Kuta Square. Friend bought prescription sun glasses from Main first floor of discovery. Tint off in two months. Sorry can remember the shop names.
